The VVCF team arrives in Ha Noi

After a long flight on board a Viet Nam Airlines flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, Laura and Virginie have arrived in Ha Noi, where they have been greeted by Trang and her family, with exceptional hospitality.

The day has been a good and productive one for the charity, despite the intense heat weighing down on Ha Noi. During a delicious traditional lunch held at the home of one of Trang's relatives, Virginie and Laura were introduced to some very promising contacts. In particular, Vietnamese-Czechs with a keen interest in commencing fundraising operations in Prague for the VVCF. Dinh Quoc Hoi, head of a Vietnamo-czech newspaper in Prague, has taken a particular interest in the matter. VVCF looks forward to opening its operations in the Czech Republic.

Laura and Virginie also met Tran Quoc Long, a representative of Vietnam Airlines, who should be able to guarentee a better deal for the charity's airfares, so that the money goes where it is needed rather than admin fees.
